I mentioned this when I posted my shoe collection, but I have a pair of black shell longwings that I probably worn twice in the last decade. A bit of a weird shoe, but they beautiful how would you wear them?
Edit: Double posted this from my phone, so I deleted the duplicate. Now /u/trashpile comment is just hanging out alone down there, so I repost it:
you mean besides the Thom Browne Special? white canvas pants cut like suit trousers rather than workwear, gray u neck t shirt and unstructured black pique blazer, like to miami ify the new york standard?I have these two OCBDs that I bought at the beginning of summer thinking I could do so much with the colors, but I only worn them both maybe twice because I not sure what pants to pair them with. It all looked kind of grayish (may be my monitor). In that case, I can think of any color that would look bad aside from something black/grey/white or green or blue. Also, avoid navy unless you know it the exact same navy. I probably go with a brown that about the color of the shoes, but you could get away with something more summery/daring if you wanted to. I think a pastel yellow jacket might look good. Overall, use your own judgement (unless you color blind) and wear something that you feel comfortable with.
