The arch of the shoe should be supportive but not intrusive and should fit the arch of the foot. There are many different shapes of feet and shoes and some experimentation may be necessary to find the right fit. Lastly, you should be sure to get plenty of rest. Adequate rest, appropriate exercise and a healthy diet are essential for foot health and pain free walking.
