Most moms of boys have had that moment when they walked into a clothing store and felt let down. Not because they wanted a girl or because dressing boys isn’t fun, but because the selection of boys clothes can just be so sparse compared to girl clothes.
In our Community, moms of boys on the August 2012 Birth Club were discussing how to dress their little guys. And some had the same complaint I have, "ALL you see is gobs of girl outfits and not a single boy thing except the folded table with tshirts on it. have three boys, who are 7, 5 and 3 years old. And my daughter just turned 7 months old. So while I’m still fairly new to the world of pink and tights and bows, I am a boy clothes veteran. Dressing a little girl is fun, but dressing little boys is just as delightful. But darn if it doesn’t take longer to find cute boy clothes.
I’ve longed for a children’s clothes retailer to take the lead on boy clothes. There are plenty of us moms of boys out there and we complain about the disparity between the girl section and the boy section. I’m sure there must be market research that says moms of girls buy more clothes,
Big Discount 50% Off.Free Shipping Spizike Bordeaux, but maybe that’s just because we boy moms are constantly leaving stores disappointed.
There are only so many "Little Sport" or "Rockstar" t shirts one can buy,
Where Can i Buy Authentic Air Jordan 13 Squadron Blue. It just seems like boy clothes could be better.
Here are some of my favorite looks for my little guys. I may have hunted around for their clothes,

We shop at Kohl and find that they have a great selection of items for my almost 3yo son. If you shop clearance with a coupon and for the next season you will get a great deal! We love the sweater vests and button downs from Chaps and they also carry a nice line of Osh Kosh if you picky about brands. Perhaps I just feel like this is a good selection because my daughter is only 3 months old and has a closet full of clothes that people gave us as gifts or hand me downs so I haven even glanced at the girls sections at stores yet!
It getting better now that my son is older and has preferences towards certain types of clothes (right now he on a Super Mario kick, and Super Mario shirts are fairly easy to find). But when he was a baby it seemed like EVERYTHING had some sort of sport ball on it and we not a sport family. Or boats. Tons and tons of boats. As if a girl wouldn like a boat?? Who decided boats are for boys anyway?
I will also agree on there not being enough shoes for boys to choose from,
Where Can i Order Authentic Air Jordan 11 Bred 2012. I wanted to buy sneakers for my son recently and the store had like one pair that we sort of liked (nothing that we really liked) and they were out of his size in it.
I am a mother of five boys, no girls. To the commenter complaining that girl clothes are the same way, no.
When I walk into target,
Provide The Latest Styles Cheap Spizike Space Blue, the baby section is 3/4 full of girl outfits. There was one point when I needed a certain size for boy 4, and they had nothing in that size. Nothing. Yet there were five racks of just dresses in that size range for girls.
My older boys are a bit older now, 9, 7, and almost 6 their shopping has improved greatly since we got crazy 8. There are just as many boy options as girl options and I can find coordinating outfits for all five boys there. It took me five years though to find the best places and not leave upset that I couldn find selection for them.
I don have a son at the moment but I have a nephew and my sister has asked me to buy him clothes for birthdays and holidays which I was happy to do because I love buying clothes in general. I went to the little boys section and was wondering why there wasn much there was like you mentioned a large selection for girls but not too much for boys. This is true especially at Target where I tend to buy my daughter clothes. Anyway try H love their kids clothes and they tend to have a bigger selection of inexpensive kids clothes. I buy a lot of things for both my daughter and my nephew there!
What I find frustrating about boys clothes is that it is hard to find coordinating outfits. I don want to dress them the SAME,
Come To Outlet Store Online To Buy Infrared 23 6s, but would like them to coordinate with one another for family photos,
Buy Cheap Online Air Jordan 9 Black Photo Blue White, church, special occasions. A good example is Christmas Jammies. Most stores have the girl nightgown and the matching boy jammies. Why not make a few boy jammies that look cute together. My boys aren twins and I don like dressing them the same. I end up spending a lot of time looking for clothes that look good together for them (and will go with whatever their sister has!)
That silly. Of course there are options out there. The real complaint would be that you are not willing to pay more, or that maybe the second hand stores don have as many boy clothes (and sure,
How Much Do Air Jordan 5 Fire Red Black Tongue 2013, why not,
Store Online Womens Shoes Air Jordan 9 Johnny Kilroy, they are rougher on clothing than girls). Or maybe they aren at as many garage sales.
Boys have plenty fun clothes. In fact, they get the cuter hoodies (super hero sweaters, complete with cape or pointed ears on the hoods, I just saw a shark hoodie on a little boy, absolutely adorable). Broaden your horizons.
I think it a fair criticism that clothes are overly gendered for both boys and girls. Is it really so hard to make clothes in solid colors, or stripes, or patterns. Do all boys have have sports/trucks/dionosaurs on them? Do all girls cloths have to be pink or glittery? I can see the frustration on both sides.
My big gripe is when I want to dress my boy up. Last year for his first Easter I literally walked our entire mall looking for something for him to wear. Three major department stores and several smaller kid stores and I literally found not one single dressy outfit in my sons size. Just racks and racks of little girl dresses. I was almost in tears when I gave up and left. I later discovered my local target did have one rack of little boy clothes and I was able to find him a cute sweater vest, it wasn exactly what I wanted but worked out ok. This year I haven even bothered he probably end up wearing the same dress pants and white button down shirt he been wearing to church since Christmas. Don clothing manufactures realize plenty of boy moms would gladly fork over our money if they offered us anything to buy.
THANK YOU! Seriously, what is it with clothing retailers? And not just them. I a fan of those sites and in the past year they offered Baby Legs for just boys once, that right once in a year. They have them for just girls once a month. It like they assume if you have a boy you can be bothered, or don want anything cute.
Carter has some cute stuff, but the quality is poor. Everything shrinks and the seams give way after a few washes anyways. I bought from them in the beginning and people gave me things from there but I going to stop shopping there.
It a shame I down one store though as it is slim pickings out there. Neimans has only a tiny selection, the same goes for Nordstrom (though there more online). I like the Offspring clothing line, but I will need more than pj at some point. Recently I was in Baby Gap and was pretty impressed with the quality. So much so that I bought out the entire Beatrix Potter line. I guess I glad I have a more conservative preppy style cause most of our stuff will be coming from them in the future. They seem to have a more even divide of boys and girls stuff. It would be nice if more retailers took their lead. Cute outfits, not everything something quality, decent selection, and reasonably priced. It not that hard.
To the woman who said of course there are options out there, when I walk into a store and literally can count the racks four racks of boys clothes, twelve of girls clothes,
Official Worldwide Website Air Jordan Spizike Easter, that says no options in that store. It has nothing to do with the price Im willing to spend because this works from every store I walk into from WalMart to Gymboree to Carter do agree that girls clothes are often the same pink, pink, and more pink, and thats going to be a problem for me because I hate pink. But at least I have twelve racks to look at now, instead of only four.
Boys and girls clothes have different problems,
Website To Air Jordan 10 Retro White Old Royal Stealth, it true. My first is a girl, and I hate pink and sparkles, so I shopped a lot for her in the boys section. But when she got to be a toddler instead of an infant, there was more variety. I personally don like clothes shopping, so wading through the girls section, where maybe 1/10 of the stuff doesn make me angry, is awful. In the boys section, sure there 1/4 the amount of stuff,
Buy Online Womens Shoes Air Jordan 13 Ray Allen PE, but maybe 1/3 of it I at least consider buying. In some stores. Since I don like the sports, or the styles,

However, we discovered tie dye a while back, and my son in love with it. Plaid is good too, and he likes stripes,

If they would increase the infant/toddler boys setion they would see a big increase in sales (especially if they are the only store in area with large boys section) The store manager and a cashier both admitted that was one of the biggest complaints they have heard.
and to the ones complaining about pink, pink, pink I agree about the pink, but at least the selection of clothing is wider than the boys. I have never left a store without finding at least one thing for my nieces, however I have had to go to multiple stores to find at least one thing for my nephews and son.
I don know,
Buy Real Mens Shoes Air Jordan 4 Retro Doernbecher, I love dressing my little boy. I was a little disappointed when he was first born and couldn find a pair of plain black pants to save my life in the boy section, but since then I found him so many adorable things. I been told many a time that my little boy is the best dressed baby ever. Which is saying something because I live in t shirt and jeans. The selection may be smaller, but if you look hard enough you can find some great deals on awesome clothes. (I will admit though,
Where Can i Buy Shoes Air Jordan 13 He Got Game 2013, that every star outfit/shirt we find ends up in his wardrobe.)
Actually, I am dreading ever having a girl. I hate the color pink and glitter. Whenever I look at friends that have girls or at the girls clothes at the store, I cringe and think, I would never want to put a little girl in that,

I think this can go both ways,
Brand New For Sale Air Jordan 6 Championship Cigar, but in my experience, I don have a problem with the clothes I been able to find.
I haven had a problem finding clothes for my lil man and he two. But I avoid the stores and shop online. If he has a sports outfit, it for a team I decided he going to root for since they my favorite team or his Godmother I found really cute sweaters and button ups (I avoid suits at all costs),
Buy Authentic Cheap Air Jordan 4 Retro Military Blue, get a kick out of the different character hats, and have found some really unique onesies when he was younger (I like Boo Rad Lee clothing and Silly Souls when they on sale since they more reasonably priced that way or when they given as presents). At this point, when he wants to choose his own clothes, I don care what colour they are or what section they from. Case in point are his favorite socks are ones that I got from the dollar bin at Target bright pink with Abby from Sesame Street on them. I also decided that if I ever have a little girl I not going to limit myself to or clothes as well. As far as I concerned as long as it doesn have Princess/Prince, Little Man/Girl, etc on it then there are no and clothes. Now shoes, I still do have a problem finding since I find the majority of them to be ugly, but then I using hand me downs from my niece for some has a great pair of purple snow boots at the moment
