Plenty of attention was paid to the signature shoes of Nike’s Big 3 during the NBA All Star Game a few weeks ago, but the so called "second tier" of astronomy themed PEs might have stolen the show. Guys like Russell Westbrook, Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki were not going to be left behind in the shoe game, and Rajon Rondo even unleashed the highly desired Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" on the court. But the leader of this group was none other than Blake Griffin and his exclusive Nike Zoom Hyperdunk Supreme PEs.
Regular Ol Ty, who is other known as uh. regular ‘ol Ty, I guess, must know people in high places because he was recently blessed with a pair of Blake’s kicks and we were blessed by Ty because he has given us a few detailed pictures. While the shoes appeared to be greyish in color on the court, a closer inspection reveals a more colorful look, coupled with some details we missed, such as moon art on the upper and Griffin inspired logo on the tongue.
Considering the All Star Game has come and gone, it’s unlikely these will see a release anytime soon. However, Nike did release Blake’s shoes from last year’s festivities this past August, so it’s not impossible, just not within the next few weeks.
