How does that even make sense? Whatever mess you make in, let’s say your living room, would be made whether you have carpet or tile or even hardwood floors. Hair and crumbs fall on non carpetted floors, so why would they be any cleaner?
Let’s see. I spill a glass of milk on the tile floor. Easy grab a couple rags, some spray cleaner and a toilet. Mop up the milk, spray down the floor, wipe dry. All possibility of mould, bacteria, whatever forming are gone, took 2 minutes. I spill a glass of milk on the carpet. While I run for some rags, it quickly soaks right through to the underpadding and possibly to the subfloor below. No matter how hard I try to soak up the milk, I can’t get it all out all the way down to the subflooring and underpadding. Doesn’t take long before mould and bacteria are just a bredding away in the underworld of my carpet.
