Jackson also won the 300 hurdles in 39.72 with teammate Kegan King in second at 40.48.Khoury Crenshaw continued the success for Solon as he won the 100 in 11.19 with Michael Weilacher of Kenston in fourth in 11.59.The Bombers got an individual title out of Owen Norley, who won the 1,600 in 4:29.56 with Solon Kevin Blank in third in 4:30.22. Jack Rolf joined Norley as a champion as he was the best in the 400 in 50.06.In the 800, Paul Arters of Solon was second in 1:58.74 with Norley in second at 1:59.17.The Comets took two of the top three spots in the 200 with Matt Thompson winning the race in 22.12. Darryl Richards was second in 22.86 and Crenshaw was third in 23.15. Hicks of Solon continued to dominate the throwing events. He won both the discus (180 feet) and the shot put (64 1 Fellow Comet Reggie Jagers was fourth in the discus with a throw of 141 9. Kenston had two qualifiers in the shot put as James Romanowski was third at 51 2 and Lou Mantush was fourth at 49 7John Kolibab of Kenston and Brett Goudy of Solon finished tied in third in the high jump at 6 2.Solon Darian Hicks was the runner up in the long jump at 21 4 while teammate Karl Pierce was second in the pole vault at 14 0.Solon did very well in the relay races as well. The Comets were first in the 800 relay in 1:28.47 with Jackson, Jeremy Nelson, Crenshaw and Thompson running.The Comets also won the 400 relay as Thompson, Nelson, Crenshaw and Darian Hicks recorded a time of 42.48. The Bombers were second in 43.13 with Weilacher, Ryan Huffman, Tre Smith and Richards.Solon won its third relay race, the 1,600, as Jackson, Nelson, Christian Jackson and Thompson earned a time of 3:22.99. Kenston was third in 3:26.69 with Dreadnaught Stubbs, Norley, Smith and Rolf running.
